Honourable Arlington “Chuck” Musgrove is a dedicated public servant and influential leader in the Turks and Caicos Islands. As the Minister of Immigration and Border Services, he oversees critical areas including Customs, Disaster Management, the TCI Port Authority, Civil Aviation, and the Airport Authority. North and Middle Caicos, part of Electoral District 4 in the Turks and Caicos Islands, has experienced significant growth and development in infrastructure, community engagement, and economic development initiatives. Since 2021, under the representation of Honourable Arlington “Chuck” Musgrove, the district has advanced in areas critical to the quality of life and future prosperity of its residents.

In recent years, North and Middle Caicos have seen substantial infrastructure improvements, addressing long-standing needs and enhancing the daily lives of residents. A notable achievement has been the historic paving of the road in Whitby, funded by $1.4 million allocated through MP Musgrove’s efforts. Additionally, $3.5 million has been dedicated to constructing a community center in Bottle Creek, providing the community with a space for events, social gatherings, and other activities that strengthen local bonds.

The constituency has shown a strong commitment to cultural preservation and community engagement. MP Musgrove led the renaming of the North Caicos airport to honor Clifford Gardiner, a local pioneer in aviation and business. This renaming not only reflects the area’s rich heritage but also fosters a sense of pride among residents. Furthermore, North and Middle Caicos have benefited from a nearly $5 million allocation for various community enhancement projects, with $900,000 dedicated to removing abandoned cars to reduce mosquito breeding grounds and renovating key community centers in Kew and Sandy Point.

MP Musgrove has championed tourism and investment projects that aim to boost local economies and create jobs for residents. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed for the development of the Royal Reef Hotel in Sandy Point, and further progress has been made on the Delis Cay project. Establishment of the Border Force Office in Bottle Creek:

Opening of a new Border Force office in Bottle Creek, North Caicos, to boost local security and improve immigration and customs services. This office serves as a critical checkpoint for maintaining safe and efficient border operations, enhancing local security.

Strengthening Border Security:

Implementation of stringent immigration measures and policies to counteract illegal entry. Hon. Musgrove has been vocal about safeguarding the islands’ borders and has spearheaded initiatives to reinforce border security and uphold lawful immigration processes.
