It is my esteemed honour as acting Chairlady of the Progressive National Party to greet you, the wonderful people of these our ‘Beautiful by Nature’ Turks and Caicos Islands, Progressive National Party members, stalwarts, supporters, and all those from near and far!
The Progressive National Party has long been and, today, remains the party of progress, economic advancement, educational enhancement, institution building and people development in the Turks and Caicos Islands. A party that is home to visionaries, nation builders and some of this country’s most brilliant and influential minds. The fundamental values and virtues of this great party continue to be the driving force of our ongoing success, and the shared success of you our beloved people of this great country, whose lives we seek to better each and every day.
My daily commitment is to build on the foundation of the many visionaries, dedicated and committed men and women who have gone before me. Those who have toiled tirelessly and diligently in the shadows to build a party of progressives and a party that has stood the test of time. A party that has developed a country our forefathers dreamt about, and a party with a legacy our children and grandchildren can be proud of.
