The PNP government has consolidated immigration and customs functions into a unified Border Force. This new structure enhances border security, streamlines immigration processes, and strengthens enforcement against illegal entry. In recognition of the important work performed by the Immigration Task Force, the PNP administration increased allowances for task force members by 100%. This increase ensures that task force members are properly supported and motivated to carry out their duties, reflecting the government’s commitment to upholding border security and maintaining effective immigration control.
The PNP government has introduced clearer guidelines and annual quotas for Permanent Residency Certificates (PRCs) and TCI Status grants.
